Arthur Leonard Horn

Born in McCoy, CO. Leonard homesteaded on the Colorado river near McCoy and later had a ranch on the Eagle river that was located on the north side of the river for about 7 miles between Eagle and Wolcott. Leonard was truly a cowboy is the tradition of the old west. He was without a doubt the best horseman I've ever known. He was banned from entering the cutting horse competition at the National Western because he did not use headgear for his horse - didn't need it. His contribution to the cattle industry in the western states is recognized by the Colorado Cattlemen s Association.
